The ES1370 is the SB PCI64/128 chipset. The ES1371 is the Ensonic Audio PCI chipset. These are very different chips inside. Both have a rare intermittent problem. (We have/had large numbers of both) You have to run your machine 24hr day to pick them up. A normal home user might not see it or write it of as a once off. The ES1371 does the noise problem. The ES1370 the sound goes dead. (my sound it dead as I write this...) Both require a reboot to fix.

Works great under NT 3.51. One of the only PCI sound cards that has drivers for this operating system. 4 channel sound does not work though, unfortunately.
