You just need to force 256 colors in Compatibility tab in properties of ctorm.exe.

Just right-click on the Cstorm.exe file and goto properties and then click on Compatibility tab. under emulation os select Windows 95 and then under that click to enable running in 256 colors. Works.

"Show how much you know, no man if you do that, only thing that will happen is a flash then return to your normal Windows XP. you must run it on DOSbox." - Incorrect. Current setup - Windows XP Pro SP3. Settings:
Compatibility mode - Windows 95
Run in 256 colors
Disable visual themes
Turn off advanced text services

You don't have to run in 640x480, though it doesn't go all that much higher.

Under 64 bit Windows 7, I cannot get the installer working in any way shape or form. No compatibility mode options work for it. You can copy the CSTORM folder over and get the game started, (I got distorted video in the cinematics,) but when you try to start a mission, it crashes with "Memory could not be read" errors.
