S-Media Radeon 9000 PRO
This card seems to a good purchase in the low-end range. It clearly outperforms the GeForce4 MX series and only costs a little extra which very natural. This card is not quite as fast as the TYAN Tachyon G9000 Pro but if it is correspondingly cheap then that is fine..

AOpen AX45-8X Max
AOpen has made a quite reasonable mainboard and it actually reminds me a lot like their Tube version. It is made in a nice black colour, which I personally like. Even though SiS doesn’t officially support DDR400, the mainboard does support but it comes at a price. If you want DDR400 support, the performance will drop considerably. So I would recommend waiting for a better solution for DDR400, but luckily DDR333 still runs well.
