Budget is one of the keywords that AMD likes to address. It's a huge market and really, what's not to like about it ? Today AMD is adding another budget processor to their line-up, in specific the AMD Athlon X2 7850 BE 2.8 GHz (Black Edition) and here at Guru3D.com we will take a look at it.
A 2.8GHz clocked dual-core processor with 3MB of total cache, 512KB of the L2 variety per core and 2MB of shared L3 cache per chip developed under ASIC codename KUMA, and that means it really is a 1st generation Phenom processor.
To top it off, this processor will also be a Black Edition chip which overclockers should like very much. To top it off, the product costs merely 79 USD. Not bad .. or is it ?
