Tom's Hardware updated their best graphics cards for the money roundup

Last month, Nvidia launched its GeForce GTX 660 Ti, which we covered in GeForce GTX 660 Ti Review: Nvidia's Trickle-Down Keplernomics. This is the fourth card based on the company's GK104 graphics processor, and it's de-tuned to include 1344 CUDA cores, 112 texture units, 24 ROPs, and a 192-bit memory interface. The result is basically a GeForce GTX 670 a narrower memory interface and one less ROP cluster. It offers compelling performance in workloads that tax the GPU, and fares very well against AMD's Radeon HD 7870. However, with the 7870's recent drop to $260 or less, and the Radeon HD 7950 selling for $320 or less (in some cases down to $290 after rebates), it's tough to recommend the GeForce.

In better news for Nvidia, its GeForce GTX 670 is showing up for as little as $380 online, making one of our favorite graphics cards more affordable. Moreover, the GeForce GT 640 is $10 cheaper and can now be found for $100. We think that Nvidia needs to cut it by another $10 before it can compete with AMD's Radeon HD 6670 GDDR5, though.
