The AMD Duron is unequivocally superior to the Celeron in performance. All major hardware review sites who have reviewed both CPUs have acknowledged that the Celeron days are numbered. With an aggressive ramp of the Pentium 4 and huge price drops, Intel is vying to retain its market position as x86 processor leader.
