As you may recall about 2 months ago I reviewed the Corsair XMS 4000 memory modules, and as to be expected I gathered great results. At that time I thought to myself that memory could not get much better! I thought the heat-spreader design was attractive and so was the speed. The engineers over at Corsair obviously were not satisfied with their work and they decided to improve their flagship product with two very exciting and distinguishing features that actually make the new PRO memory not only more attractive physically, but functionally as well. There were new flashy Load diagnostic LED bars installed with the new heat-spreader design, as well as a new generation of Hynix chips that support more than one SPD setting which greatly maximizes the versatility of these chips, and adds a lot of potential to their possible overclocking uses.
