I don't believe hardcore gamers would purchase a RADEON 9500 or 9600, but people on a budget will. If you belong to the best-for-your-buck gang, then find one of the few 9500 PROs remaining. If you cannot afford the higher price tag of the 9500 PRO, the 9600 PRO is a great replacement. While it does not give the highest framerates available on the market, it will adequately fulfill any gaming needs any mid-range system requires. And with WinDVD 4 bundled in Crucial's 9600 PRO, along with s-video and tv-out ready to go, the price is nice.
