HP Pavilion p6720f Review
TechReviewSource.com posted a review on the HP Pavilion p6720f

HP's Pavilion p6720f is a speedy desktop PC with an AMD quad-core processor, 6GB of memory and a massive 1TB hard drive. There's also a decent amount of ports, but it lacks USB 3.0 or eSATA, which is slightly disappointing. However, it's a good, solid computer that won't break the bank.

Jetway Mini-ITX NC98-525E-LF Motherboard MultiMedia Review
Madshrimps posted a review on the Jetway Mini-ITX NC98-525E-LF Motherboard MultiMedia

Jetway is well know for their Mini-ITX motherboards. Based on the Intel Atom is this a perfect base for a small energy saving and environmental friendly HTPC or Home server system. Jetway provided us a D525 CPU and GT218 gpu motherboard and we will take it through a series of multimedia tests. Already served well in a previous review for Home Server we will only focus on the HTPC part.

Alpenföhn Föhn 140 Wing Boost Fan Review
Vortez posted a review on the Alpenföhn Föhn 140 Wing Boost Fan

Rather unsurprisingly the fan itself looks very similar to the Föhn 120 from last year. Its dimensions are of course greater than the 120 and there are two sets of mount holes to accommodate both 120mm and 140mm fan mount holes. The 4pin PWM cable is covered by a rubberised braid which should offer a good deal of protection during install and usage.

Quick Review: OCZ Gold XTE Series PC3-17000 4GB Kit
TweakTown posted a review on the OCZ Gold XTE Series PC3-17000 4GB Kit

We've mentioned already a number of times, including in our OCZ Platinum XTE review of the 2000MHz DDR kit, because of there being no divider for 2000MHz DDR you have to adjust the very limited BCLK. What it ultimately means is a bit of a hit and miss experience with 2000MHz DDR memory. If it's good overclocking RAM, you'll be ok. If not, you could struggle to hit the default clocks due to the limited option in the BIOS.

Today, though, we hope to completely miss that issue with the Gold XTE series which while lower on the food chain in the OCZ line up; does carry with it a higher clock speed; in this case 2133MHz DDR. Like the Platinum series there's not much going on in the package with the two modules being the main highlight. The two 2GB modules come in at 2133MHz DDR as we have already mentioned, and on the timings front we're seeing a 10-10-10-30-1T @ 1.65v setup.

Intel 310 Series 80GB mSATA SSD Review
HotHardware posted a review on the Intel 310 Series 80GB mSATA SSD

As tablets, portable media players, and even ultra-thin notebooks keep shrinking in size, so too will the components they're built around. This is where Intel's new 310 Series SSDs come into play. The 310 Series utilize the same 34nm NAND flash memory technology and controller found on the chip maker's 2.5-inch SSDs, but in a form factor just 1/8th the size. We're talking a scant 2 inches (51mm) long by 1.18 (30mm) wide and flatter than a pancake. And the best part, says Intel, is that despite its diminutive stature, you can expect performance similar to that of the company's popular X25-M 34nm SSD...

Enermax Hoplite Review
Vortez posted a review on the Enermax Hoplite

Enermax are world renowned for their presence within the PSU and cooling departments and are regarded as a household name, but would you be shocked to hear that Enermax also produce computer cases? Admittedly they have only a very small selection to choose from, but in the last 2 years Enermax have branched off into the computer case genre which will certainly surprised quite a few. These cases have been directed toward entry level users, so fundamentally the hardware enthusiast will be ignorant of their existence. But this year, things are about to change.

Sapphire Edge-HD Mini PC Review
HardwareHeaven.com posted a review on the Sapphire Edge-HD Mini PC

On our test bench is a product from Sapphire which contains a NVIDIA GPU... yes, NVIDIA. The Edge-HD is a small ATOM/ION system which Sapphire say could be the smallest PC in the world. We will be putting it though a number of real world tests which include Blu-Ray playback, GPU media encoding and power use to find out whether it meets the needs of the average consumer.

AXLE GeForce GT 430 1GB Video Card Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the AXLE GeForce GT 430 1GB Video Card

Legit Reviews has the NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 Classic Edition video card from AXLE 3D up for review today. Equipped with 96 CUDA cores on the GF108 'Fermi' GPU along with 1GB of GDDR3 memory, the GT 430 is geared toward lower end gaming and the home theater markets. Read on to see what we find on the AXLE GeForce GT 430 and to see how it performs in games lie Mafia 2 and Batman: Arkham Asylum!

I was impressed by the AXLE GeForce GT 430 video card, mainly by its cooling ability. Our review of the ASUS ENGT430 GeForce GT 430 video card showed the load temperature reaching up to 73C on that card, while the AXLE GeForce GT 430 barely broke a sweat at 41C. Overclock it a little bit and it still stays around 45C. It is geared more toward Home Theatre PCs, but it can be a decent card for gaming...as long as it is low resolution and you can sacrifice some of the eye candy....

Zalman ZM1000-HP Plus 1000W Power Supply Review
ThinkComputers.org posted a review on the Zalman ZM1000-HP Plus 1000W Power Supply

ThinkComputers last reviewed a power supply unit from primarily cooling company Zalman in 2008, the ZM850-HP. Now, we have in our hands a much newer model building upon three years of innovation and standardization: the ZM1000-HP Plus. The ZM1000-HP Plus features a dual heatpipe cooling system, lots of connectors, modular cables, and 80PLUS Silver certification for efficiency. See how the unit measures up in this review.

ASUS Sabertooth P67 Review
ocaholic posted a review on the ASUS Sabertooth P67 motherboard

With the Sabertooth P67, ASUS has an Intel-P67 based motherboard in its portfolio that comes with some interesting features. Therefore very suspicious is the so called thermal shield. This plastic cover should allow an optimized airflow over the boards core components.

Sapphire Edge Mini PC Review
OCC has published a review on the Sapphire Edge Mini PC

I truly believe that Sapphire has found a sweet spot for media pc's. The Edge Mini PC really impressed me with it's design, performance and feature set. All my life computers have been getting smaller and smaller; but all of that didn't prepare me for the Edge. An enclosure the size of a paperback book containing a more-than-capable media PC was somewhat alien to me. Despite its tiny proportions, the design really catches your eye. Sleek curves and the wavy stand ensure it will fit in with any entertainment center. Connectivity, however, was sort of a mixed-bag. Though you're supplied with 4 USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and built in Wireless-N the lack of a camera card reader was quite surprising.

Sapphire Edge-HD Mini PC Review
PureOverclock has published a review of the Sapphire Edge-HD Mini PC

Housing an entire system in what is the smallest package we've ever seen, the Sapphire Edge-HD Mini PC appears to be a very capable little machine for consumers on a tight budget that don't have need of the cost or horsepower of a full-sized desktop system. But does smaller mean less, or do good things really come in small packages? Let's find out.

Xigmatek Achilles Plus SD1484 Heatsink Review
Benchmark Reviews posted a review on the Xigmatek Achilles Plus SD1484 Heatsink

One of the benefits of testing computer hardware is that you occasionally get to look at new kit before it's introduced to the market. In my time at Benchmark Reviews, I've been fortunate enough to be able to review some cases and CPUs before they were generally available (or in some cases, before they were even announced). Recently Benchmark Reviews was given the oppotunity to evaluate a prototype of Xigmatek's forthcoming Achilles Plus SD1484 CPU cooler, and I tested it to compares its performance to a variety of air and water coolers.

Mionix Propus 380 Gaming Mouse Pad Review

The base construction is with PVC-plastic. The surface of the Propus 380 has a silver-metallic plastic coating to ensure optimal tracking on both optical and laser mice. There is an extra wide design measuring in at 380mm x 260mm. In imperial measurements that's about 15in x 10.24in. The bottom of the mat is constructed of textured rubber for extreme grip.
