Overclocking has always been a serious focus amongst PC enthusiasts, but it hasn't been until recently with the introduction of the Core 2 processors from Intel that, even users who were priorly not interested in overclocking, is doing so now. One very interesting aspect has hit the memory industry for quite a while, however -- is the introduction of heatsinks to memory modules. While not always necessary, it looks extremely attractive to an extent. The introduction of OCZ's Flex XLC heatsink for its high end memory module has proven lots of success among enthusiasts; how will this implementation into a lower priced product make a difference? OCZ has been in the review spotlight for their excellent memory modules and high end power supply units, today we get a chance to test their latest product which reintroduces them into the graphics card area with a product based on the popular NVIDIA G80 Core. OCZ's latest brainchild is the Actuator, a device which tracks movement of your eyes, monitors brain waves and picks up facial muscle movements, it uses these recorded signals to link them to input commands on the computer, allowing you to play Tetris or even a first person shooter like UT2004. The Lite-On LH-20A1H really is a Super All Write as it comes packed with features. Not only is this drive the fastest on the market by supporting 20X DVD=B1Rs, Lite-On has made is possible to take regular media and either have them finish their writing process faster or do so with fewer mistakes.

What makes it even better is the different ways you can switch modes. You can press down on the scroll wheel at any time to switch between Click-to-Click and Free Spin mode. Even more interesting, the MX Revolution can detect the type of application that is currently active and adjust the scroll wheel according. Also, the wheel can automatically detect how "fast" you spin the wheel; if you spin it fast enough, it will automatically switch over to Free Spin mode then lock back into Click mode by itself! Of course, all of this can be fine-tuned in the SetPoint options seen above.

During my 8 years of Linux on and off usage I have tried more distros than I have chocolate bars. Each one of my previous encounters meant that I had to spend at least 2 days configuring before I have a desktop that I was somewhat comfortable with.
