Patriot Inferno 100GB SandForce SF-1200 SSD Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the Patriot Inferno 100GB SandForce SF-1200 SSD

Patriot has been busy working on releasing their line of Inferno SSDs which features the very capable SandForce SF-1200 controller. They join a growing list of manufactures to release drives based on this controller which has been very successful in terms of sales and performance. We expect to see the Inferno to be among the top drives we have tested.

While the performance of the Patriot Inferno 100GB SSD is nothing we haven't seen from other drives featuring the same SandForce SF-1200 series controller, the inclusion of the adapter plate and generous five year warranty do help make the Patriot Inferno a compelling choice among its competitors. Those that like PC bling will also appreciate its unique styling which definitely makes it stand out in a windowed chassis..

Viewsonic VA2323wm 23 Inch Widescreen LCD Monitor Review
Bigbruin.com posted a review on the Viewsonic VA2323wm 23 Inch Widescreen LCD Monitor

Overall, I like the Viewsonic VA2323wm 23" widescreen LCD monitor very much. The picture quality is excellent and this refurbished model is in such great condition that it could pass for new. The 23" screen was an upgrade from my precious 20" monitor, and while it may sound silly to say, that extra 3" really does make a difference.

Gigabyte GV-R587SO-1GD - Overclocking Monster
ocaholic posted a review on the Gigabyte GV-R587SO-1GD video card

The Gigabyte GV-R587SO-1GD is Gigabytes version of a highly overclocked graphics card. This furhter development has almost nothing in common with ATIs reference design. Gigabytes engineers created an almost entierly new PCB which only carries the best components available. As a result you get a card that does 950 MHz GPU clock default from the factory and paired up with the new cooler it is even more silent than ATIs reference card.

ASUS EAH5850 DirectCU TOP/2DIS/1GD5 Graphics Card Review
Vortez.co.uk posted ASUS EAH5850 DirectCU TOP/2DIS/1GD5 Graphics Card Review

The HD5850 has always provided an excellent compromise between price and performance. Compared to its bigger brother, the HD5870, which shares the same core, all the main features are present with the main difference being 8 less texture units, 160 shader cores disabled and a slightly lower clock speed on the former. The question has always been if the £100/$100 price difference is worth the performance difference so the review today will focus on this.

ASUS are renowned for the extras that they bundle with their graphics card offering, namely their voltage tweak utility, which we previously saw in their HD5870 review. The tool is of added benefit to the HD5850 by not only giving ASUS an advantage over other manufacturers but also unlocking its full potential to compete with HD5870. Coupled with a custom DirectCU cooler and a mild overclock, ASUS aim to deliver superior performance without the inconvenience of heat and noise.

Super Talent Express 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Review
Everything USB posted a review on Super Talent Express USB 3.0 Flash Drive.

Lets face it, USB 2.0 flash drives just don't cut it anymore; everyone wants bigger, faster and better options which only USB 3.0 can provide. For the average consumer who wants more speed than USB 2.0 flash drives can offer, but doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg, Super Talent has line of flash drives which comes with a more value orientated price: the Express. So how much speed does this reduced MSRP get you and is there any downside to it? Read on for my full review.

The Verdict:
The 32GB Super Talent Express USB 3.0 flash drive is big enough, fast enough that it should satisfy most consumers needs quiet nicely. The fact that it also looks like a much more expensive drive certainly doesn't hurt! If you can afford the asking price, the Express Drive may just be a perfect fit for you.

The Good:
+ Stylish good looks
+ Not much bigger than USB 2.0 flash drives
+ Very good performance
+ LED indicator is not annoyingly bright
+ Decent price to performance ratio

The Bad:
- Short warranty
- May block USB ports to either side of it
- Does get very warm during extended usage
- Requires USB 3.0 to get the most from it

CM Storm Inferno Gaming Mouse Review
Techgage.com posted a review on the CM Storm Inferno Gaming Mouse

When Cooler Master released its first "CM Storm" gaming mouse last fall, we were impressed. For a company not known for mice to come out with such a competitive product was great, and helped pave the way for the future. That future is here, in the form of the Inferno. Can it surpass the quality set by the Sentinel Advance?

Our recent review of the Silverstone Sugo SG07 stirred a lot of interest with our readers and I received emails asking if it would be possible to passively cool a high performance processor in this chassis. KitGuru seemingly has a core audience of readers who loathe noise, with a vengeance.

In our continued efforts to focus on cooling we decided to revisit this brilliant chassis and to figure out if this would be possible, without too many compromises.

CoolIT Systems Omni A.L.C. Universal GPU Cooling System Review
Futurelooks posted a review on the CoolIT Systems Omni A.L.C. Universal GPU Cooling System

Most liquid cooling users are a very eclectic bunch. The system configurations can range from cooling just the CPU to everything in between, from GPU to even hard drives. While liquid cooling the CPU is by far the most popular, it's GPUs like the ATI HD 59xx and NVidia GTX 4xx products that signal the need for more aggressive cooling. That's where Coolit System's latest Omni A.L.C. GPU cooler can help. We saw it at CES 2010 up close, and now we're going to get personal with it.

Puget Systems Serenity SPCR Edition Ultra Quiet Gaming PC Review
PC Perspective posted a review on the Puget Systems Serenity SPCR Edition Ultra Quiet Gaming PC

Puget Systems is back with a gaming PC that is rated under 20db - and if you don't know how quiet that actually is...your breathing is probably louder. They are able to accomplish this with mostly off-the-shelf parts and careful selection of components. Stop in and learn by example on how quiet computing can be done!

As you saw in our video review, the Puget Systems Serenity SPCR Edition is dead quiet. The lowest we could get our ambient noise levels to with everything off and everyone holding their breath was about 27-28db (as measured by our Extech sound level meter) and our system never went OVER that even while it had been running loops of 3DMark Vantage for several hours. This is definitely a testament to the work that Puget put into a high quality design and they obviously met their goal of creating one of the quietest PCs (let alone a system capable of solid gaming) we have ever used!
