ADATA S511 240GB Solid State Drive Review
TweakTown posted a review on the ADATA S511 240GB Solid State Drive

ADATA isn't new to the SATA III market. The company already released the S501; a Marvell controlled SATA III drive with good wear capabilities. The S501 was a stopgap product between ADATA's successful S599 SandForce SF-1200 drive and the new S511 featuring SandForce's latest flagship, the SF-2281.

In the past ADATA has competed for the price / performance crown and the new S511 is no exception. ADATA is already very competitive with products like the Vertex 3, Force GT and other comparable synchronous flash products on the market today. The question we're going to answer today is if the ADATA S511 also competes with the massive performance of other synchronous flash drives sporting SandForce SF-2281 controllers.

Enermax ETS-T40 H.D.T. Tower CPU Cooler Review
Legit Reviews posted a review on the Enermax ETS-T40 H.D.T. Tower CPU Cooler

Today we are looking at the newest CPU cooler offering from Enermax, the ETS-T40. The new EST-T40 line from Enermax has a new patented fin design that Enermax says gets the ETS-T40’s thermal resistance down to 0.09*C/W. So join us as we look at the ETS-T40 and put it through the paces on our Intel Core i7-930 test system and see how it does against several other CPU cooling solutions!

This was my first look at an Enermax cooler, and overall I was very happy with the whole experience. The cooler is well made. The instructions were easy to follow, which made installation easy. One thing that Enermax did that I really liked is that they have 3 styles of the same cooler, thus allowing the end user the ability to pick a style that fits them. The ETS-T40-TB for those that don't want/need extra light in their build from LEDs, the ETS-T40-TA with blue LED fan and nickel plating for a little bling, and the ETS-T40-VD with the blue+red LED for those that want LED light but are not big on the nickel plate look...

ASUS G74-SX-A1 Gaming Notebook Review
HotHardware posted a review on the ASUS G74-SX-A1 Gaming Notebook

The ASUS line of G73 Stealth notebooks proved to be all-around solid desktop replacements, equally ideal for gaming, multimedia, and productivity. In fact, the Asus G53 and G73 line, from Asus' Repulic of Gamers (ROG) family, has been very successful in the market, praised by the press and end users alike. We took a look at the previous generation 17-inch G73SW not long ago and it earned high marks with team HH as well. This class of machine is definitely bulky however, though not that many gamers would mind. Now, the G73 is being phased out in favor of the ASUS G74 series, the next step forward for the company's family of desktop replacement notebooks.

We took a long hard look at the ASUS ROG G74SX-A1, which features a second-generation Intel Core i7-2360QM CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M for graphics firepower, and 12GB of DDR3-1333 RAM.

PNY GTX 580 Liquid Cooler GPU and CPU Review
PureOverclock has published a review of the PNY GTX 580 Liquid Cooled GPU and CPU system

Two common ways of improving a graphics card are to offer a factory overclock and a custom heatsink to improve temperatures. PNY is doing both here with their latest GTX 580 models, but they've gone an extra mile (or two) to do better. Apparently not content with air cooling, PNY now has liquid cooled cards. But these aren't regular cards with only a water block on them; they're fully self-contained liquid cooling systems that are plug-and-play, with no extra water gear required. We can hear the guffaws already from water cooling enthusiasts; cooling a CPU and GPU with a 120mm radiator is a joke. And we'd normally be one of the first to agree with you. But after getting these cards on the bench, we'll admit we were forced to eat our own objections.

Coolink SWiF2 1201 Chassis & 120P CPU Fans Review
Reviewstash.com posted a review on the Coolink SWiF2 1201 Chassis & 120P CPU Fans

The name "Coolink" isn't one that is particularly familiar to hardware enthusiasts, especially considering it is mostly available within the European market. Fortunately, name recognition or not, the company has been manufacturing specialty computer cooling products in the OEM sector since 1996; well before companies like Thermaltake and Zalman entered the market in 1999. Not only does Taiwan's Coolink (or, rather, "Kolink International Corporation") have plenty of experience, but they are actually 50% of the industry's most highly regarded company. It turns out that Noctua is actually a joint venture between Kolink and the Austrian "Rascom Computer Distribution GmbH". With so much experience and a stable research & development platform, it will be exciting to see how Coolink's SWiF2 1201 fan performs against other, common case cooling solutions - both in terms of performance, noise, and cost. We will also be taking a look at the 120P, marketed as a silent, but powerful CPU cooling fan. Unlike most fans within its market segment, it also has the ability to quietly operate at 1700 RPM - besting the traditional 1200 RPM seen in competing products. Hopefully, with such interesting technology and an affordable price point, the two Coolink products will make the grade during our extensive testing.

Kingwin Stryker 500W Fanless Power Supply Review
PC Perspective posted a review on the Kingwin Stryker 500W Fanless Power Supply

Kingwin just released their first fanless power supply, the Stryker Fanless 500W, which is rated for 500W and can be easily overclocked to 600W output with only a slight drop in efficiency. That makes the Stryker STR-500 one of the highest output fanless power supplies on the market today. And the Kingwin Stryker 500W Fanless power supply is certified 80 Plus Platinum with up to 92% efficiency. High efficiency is always good but it is critical for a fanless power supply to help minimize waste heat. Combine that with a good combination of fixed and modular cables and a 5-year warranty and we have a very interesting new product to review!

Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS MEKA G Unit Gaming Keyboard Review
TweakTown posted Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS MEKA G Unit Gaming Keyboard Review

Straight away, the box looks great, the contents are great - the keyboard itself, a wrist rest, a detachable USB cable, a bag for the detachable USB cable, a bag for the keyboard itself, stickers, a manual and a driver CD. I tried looking for the kitchen sink, but it wasn't in the box.

Once the MEKA G Unit is turned on, you're presented with beautiful backlit keys in sections of the keyboard. The WASD, 8,4,6 and 2 buttons on the number pad (up, down, left, right), the space bar has a little backlight too. It's just these little sections that gamers would primarily have their hands or fingers on, which is all you really need.

Foxconn AHD1S-k Motherboard Review
XSReviews has a new review on the Foxconn AHD1S-k motherboard

In for testing today is the Foxconn AHD1S-k. Foxconn is one of the largest makers of computing components in the world so their AMD Fusion ITX board should prove interesting. Under that big aluminium heatsink is a single chip, an AMD E-350 APU which is top of the AMD E-series line up. Inside the APU it bundles a CPU, GPU and DDR3 memory controller. The TDP of 18W makes for a very low power setup and with the passive heatsink, hopefully a very quiet system. The investigation begins!
