Developer Interview - ClownKeep

Posted by Philipp Esselbach on: 06/26/2002 01:30 AM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

GeForce Zone has interviewed Clownkeep, a video game development company located in Alabama USA. They are currently working on two games, Centurion Lance and Midnight Hour.

GeForce Zone: What are your thoughts on NVIDIA Cg?

Lee: I'm psyched!!! A step closer to creating the dream game on the graphics hardware. However I'm somewhat skeptical at this point, I will have to wait and see what people come up with. I'm pretty sure once, and if, it starts we will see some amazing results. This is similar to what OpenGL 2.0 is proposing is it not? Don't quote me on it however. Yes I think it is. Since I'm a OpenGL guy, I would like to see what OpenGL 2.0 offers, since it will be a high level API which means ease of use we all come to know from OpenGL. Is it some kind of Nvidia conspiracy to shall we say take over the world? Who knows? Maybe in 10 years we will be all living under a strict police state with weird and twisted 3D brain washing by means of highly exotic alien graphics, running off quantum computers hooked directly to our brains…Hey, that sounds kind of fun actually.

David: Lee, isn't that our overall goal?
