Eden + Xcard = Home Entertainment Machine?

The DDR Zone has taken a look at the VIA Eden platform and the Realmagic X-Card and its use as a low power entertainment system.
The focus of this review is not to elaborately describe the Eden board and provide benchmarks of the machine in operation, instead it is to test the Eden in one very specific role, that is using the Eden as a home entertainment machine. The Eden is sold as low power consumption device and as such its CPU isn't going to break any benchmark records anytime soon.
