Sandwiched between the grill in the bezel and the front of the case is this nifty push-to-open filter slot. The panel slides out to reveal a washable, reusable foam filter that would hopefully prevent a little less dust from getting sucked inside the case. Unfortunately, no such preventative measure exists on the other two openings in the side panel.
