To be honest, I'd not heard of FarCry until probably a month or two before it's release. I downloaded the massive demo (450MB+ demo's are still huge in my book), and gave it a shot. I didn't like it at all at first, but after giving it another few try's I really got into it. By this time the game was almost ready for launch, and I decided this looked like a pretty good one to try. It is.
