Overclockers New Zealand has posted a round up of five KT400 motherboards from Abit, Asus, Gigabyte, and Soltek
Around 2 months ago, VIA released the "brand new" KT-400 chipset. The improvements over the KT-333 chipset include AGP 8X support, unofficial DDR-400 support and 8X V-Link between the north and south bridges. By looking at the so-called "improvements", one has to wonder WHY on earth does VIA name it as KT-400 instead of KT-333 8X.
Anyway, enough of my rants let us get back to our agenda, the round up of KT-400 motherboards. We've reviewed 5 popular boards from Abit, Asus, Gigabyte and Soltek and now it is a good time to see how they stack up against each other.
