I did notice a couple of rough spots on the base, but they were off to the side, so I didn’t bother lapping (or smoothing) them down. Of course it comes with the infamous GlobalWin clip (for the love of god, improve your clip) that meets AMD specs, so it will apply a lot of pressure…Did I mention that this is a big, all copper cooler that is very heavy (see where I am going with this)? You need to use EXTREME caution when mounting this cooler, very wise to use a non-conductive shim, and it wouldn’t hurt to take your time while installing it
