With the 9600 range of graphics cards, ATi offers fully Direct X 9 compliant graphics to the masses. We recently took a look at the 9600 SE from Hightech, and although offering an impressive feature set for the price point, it lacked the raw performance required to be a real performance choice for those with more than a passing interest in games. The 9600 Pro however is a totally different animal. Despite having the exact same feature set as the previous card, it enjoys a 128 bit memory controller and faster clock speeds, giving it more than ample power to handle even the most advanced modern games available. Today we are looking at a 9600 Pro with a difference - the HIS Excalibur All in wonder variant.
