HP Now Resell Sonasoft Backup/Recovery Software

A press release from Sonasoft:

San Jose, California – Sonasoft Corp. announces that Hewlett Packard will resell its backup and recovery software for Microsoft Exchange, SQL and Windows servers. Customers can directly buy Sonasoft software from HP along with HP-Compaq hardware. HP’s website becomes a one-stop shop for satisfying the backup and recovery needs of small and medium businesses. Sonasoft’s products have gone through extensive testing using HP servers and customers are extremely satisfied with the combined solution.

Sonasoft provides Point-Click Recovery® solutions for Microsoft SQL, Exchange and Windows servers. The SonaSafe® solution is a centralized management based software which provides automated disk-to-disk backup and recovery via an easy-to use point and click GUI. SonaSafe Backup and Recovery Suite offers total protection through reliable backup and gives customers the ability to be up and running quickly in case of system failure or total disaster. When recovery is required, SonaSafe automatically determines which files need to be restored and quickly performs the recovery from backup data stored to internal hard disks. There’s no need to hunt for backup tapes or determine the correct restore path. Human error and unnecessary downtime are eliminated, and the data is available within minutes, instead of hours.

Loan City, one of the nation's leading wholesale residential mortgage lenders, successfully deployed SonaSafe products using HP hardware. Loan City uses DL Series servers and storage from HP to meet its backup and storage needs. “SonaSafe is dependable, easy to use, saves time during disaster recovery, and well worth the investment in the software”, said Kazam Ali, Networ k Engineering Manager at Loan City.
"The new relationship is a win-win-win proposition for HP, HP’s SMB Enterprise customers and Sonasoft. It significantly expands Sonasoft’s market reach and enables HP to provide data protection and data recovery solutions for their customers’ mission critical applications including Microsoft Exchange Server. Till now these recovery solutions were both too complex and too expensive for this segment. I expect high adoption rate of our solutions by HP’s customers”, commented Vince Khanna, Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Sonasoft. "Our partnership with HP will bridge the gap between customers’ business demands and technology needs. Companies rely on vendors to provide a platform where they have access to expert advice and solutions to meet their long-term strategic technology plans. Customers can purchase our products and services directly through HP at http://h30094.www3.hp.com/searchresults.asp?bn_mfg_id=3915 “, said Neil Kumar, Vice President of Operations at Sonasoft.
