Recording performance of the DVDRW4224INQ-D is right on the dot (no pun intended). A fully filled DVD-R or DVD+R will be written in approximately 15 minutes. Likewise, a 2X burn in 30 minutes and a 1X burn in an hour. 2.4X DVD+R, now starting to phrase-out, are fully written under 25 minutes. Overall, this external drive has responded well to the different media we threw at it, at their specified speeds.
