HardwareZoom has reviewed a Portable CDRW/DVD-ROM Combo Drive from LG.
CD-R is written at 24X Z-CLV (no it is not P-CAV as Nero reports), at 10X, 16X and 24X zones. The speed changes occur more on the later side (usually the first speed change is at the 10 min mark, and the second at 40 min), so the recording time is slightly longer than an average 24X CD writer requires. If you are doing a full disc compilation in Nero, the GCC-5241P will finish writing to it in about 6 minutes.Read more
