MSI Pro266 Master-R Review

Digital Web 3D has posted a review on the MSI Pro266 Master-R motherboard.
The DDR SDRAM has been out for a while now, and it gets a lot of attention from AMD users. Thank you to chipset from AMD, ALi, and VIA, Thunderbirds and Duron funs can have this not so expesive new memory tipe. Although we yet to see the real performance advantage of DDR over SDR memory, the prices for DDR SDRAM are falling and I´m sure we´ll be seeing more and more aplications taking advantage of that extra memory bandwidth DDR provides.
So how about some DDR action for Intel users you ask? Is it worth upgrading the current i815/Apollo Pro133A + PC133 SDRAM based systems? With VIA Apollo Pro 266 chipset already here and price competitve DDR memory, it might worth a shoot. To get right to the bottom and bring up some numbers, we have a MicroStar´s new Apollo Pro 266 based motherboard, the Pro266 Master-R, and stick of high quality Crucial PC2100 DDR SDRAM.
