AMDBoard reports that TYAN has released a new opteron motherboard for workstations
Looks like the AGP dual-Opteron motherboards war has just started and, after releasing the specifications of Arima Rioworks HDAMC, we are witnessing a lightning counterstrike from Tyan with the complete details about its latest Thunder, soberly named K8W S-2885ANRF. Like its opponent, the board offers AGP 8x/8xPro, IEEE1394a, PCI-X buses and can entertain a cool 16GB of DDR memory which is certainly going to please the DDR stick makers from around the world
