I remember getting into the overclocking scene a few years past; It was only a couple months after the celeron´s debuted and I knew I just had to have one. After all, the 300A was able to make it to 464mhz most of the time and that was one heck of a step up from my little ol´ Pentium 200MMX. They were cheap, they were thrifty and offered just enough performance to be considered a good processor. AMD was still producing the K6-2 series, which to be honest, didn´t really appeal much to me at the time. Yes sir, like most of the overclockers out there, I started with the Celeron 300A.
