A1 Electronics has posted a review on PC computer heatsink water blocks

Today we review test six PC CPU heatsink blocks to see which works the best out of the ones we have here. The efficiency of a water block is very important for no matter how powerful a pump or how many radiators you have in your computer heatsink system they will not compensate for having a water block that does not transfer the heat from your AMD or Intel processor efficiently. It makes a difference if one is designed for low flow and a lot of water passing through it.

We have the Asetek, PrimeCooler, PolarFlow, Swiftech, Thermaltake & Vantec blocks to review.

We should point out here that the Thermaltake is designed for the small tubing used by Thermaltake and their low power pump while the others are designed for higher flow rate pumps and larger pipes. We will be using the Vantec Stingray system we have on the lab heatsink test bench and only change the CPU block. We know there are other makes on the market but these are the ones we have here only and as a sample it will be interesting to see which does the best in this review.
