Plextor and LiteOn 40X/12X CDRW Drives Review

T-Break has published reviews for Plextor and LiteOn 40X/12X CDRW drives and compared them against each other.
The LiteOn 40/12/48 is similar specification wise to the Plextor. The LiteOn like the Plextor makes use of Zone CLV to reach top writing speed. One difference in speed is that the LiteOn drive has a faster CD read speed. 48x over the 40x from the Plextor unit. This should give the LiteOn a bit of an advantage as we have a couple of benchmarks that test out reading performance of the drive.
