RatedPC has updated their Radeon 8500 review
Having more than one display can also be used for gaming, as illustrated in the shots from Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000. However, there are not many games that I know of that makes use of it. Overall, I have found dual display even more useful that I ever imagined it to be. As I write this article, I have multiple applications running such an image editor, and I have opened to the other display. This feature may not be for everyone, but it is definitely a huge plus that separates the Radeon 8500 from just about every other video card in its price range.
