The first thing that strikes you as you lift the Radeon X1950 PRO Dual out of its packaging is the sheer size of the board - Not only is it long, but its height is, comparatively speaking, enormous, towering over the face plate at the rear of the card. On top of that is a vast cooler, utilising heatpipes coupled with a single, large cooling fan to draw heat away from the two RV570 cores on board. Seeing one of these cards in the flesh is most definitely a 'woah' moment.
Although two Radeon X1950 PRO Dual boards in a CrossFire setup aren't currently supported by ATI's drivers, the connectivity is still present on this card, courtesy of the two connectors at the top of the board as usual.
