The Trend Micro ServerProtect beta 1 for Microsoft .NET Server beta program is now open
This beta program is based on the code of ServerProtect 5.31, with modifications to the scan engine. Previous versions of ServerProtect will not work with .NET Server.
This beta program supports .NET Server beta 3.
Key Features
Centralized Domain Management
Provides for simple management of multiple Windows NT and Novell NetWare servers and domains from a single, portable management console.
Three-tier Remote Management
Enables secure management of entire networks through a three-tier architecture.
Real-time Scanning
Uses both rule-based and pattern-recognition technology to detect and remove both known and unknown viruses, including all in-the-wild viruses.
Virus Pattern Updates
Can be configured to download virus pattern and scan engine updates automatically and then distribute them to designated servers.
Trojan System Cleaner
Detects the activity of Trojan horse programs and recovers system files that have been modified by this type of malicious code.
NetworkTrap Tool
Allows administrators to create a mock shared folder containing files that network-aware viruses are likely to infect. This creates a trap for viruses that are designed to actively seek out shared folders.
