TechExtreme has posted a review on the Sound Blaster Live! Platinum 5.1 sound card.

Chances are pretty high that you either have a Sound Blaster sound card or you used one at some point in time. Quite frankly, I wouldn't blame you if you owned at least two Creative Labs sound cards. After all, they pretty much have the PC audio market cornered. At one point, Aureal managed to steal some of Creative's thunder, but their recent bankruptcy and subsequent buyout by Creative Labs has once again narrowed your options for a sound card.
