OCWorkbench has posted a review on the SOYO K7ADA mainboard based on the new ALi MAGiK1 DDR chipset.



While most manufacturers have already announced plans to launch ALi based solutions, to date, only Iwill KA266R is the readily available board. SOYO K7ADA is the second board that we review using this chipset.

Although there has been reports that ALi based solutions are not as good as other DDR chipsets in terms of overclocking, this is not entirely true. We managed to run at 146mhz FSB. The CC Winstone2000 results are also pretty impressive. Well, we will explore that in the next few pages.

It also has the smallest footprint measuring 30.5 cm x 19 cm (12 x 7.48)
