XYZ Computing has posted a new review on the Ultra Products X-Connect 500w Power Supply
The X-Connect is a modular ATX power supply unit. This means that each wire that plugs into the back of the PSU can be disconnected if it is not needed. Up until now units like this were only available custom and generally started at about $175. So the X-Connect is, in certain respects, the first pre-modded PSU to take of advantage modular design and the cost benefits of mass production.
