Tweakers Australia has posted a review on the Wacom Graphire2 Graphics Tablet.
Graphic tablets have been around for quite some time now, but there has always been a certain level of mystique concerning their availability, performance and price. A graphic tablet is basically a two-part pointing device - one part the pen, the other part the tablet itself - where the tablet records the strokes made by the pen and replicates them onto screen just as a traditional mouse would. The speed and precision you can obtain by holding a pen is far superior to holding a mouse, and is the premium choice among graphic and multimedia designers. The tablet we will be looking at today is the Graphire2 from Wacom, the base model from their tablet range designed for the home and business user as well as the low-budget graphics professional.
