Western Digital Unveils WD Caviar RAID Edition Hard Drives

D-Silence has posted a news story on Western Digital's WB Caviar RAID Edition Hard Drives
This past week, Western Digital quietly announced new enterprise-class SATA and EIDE drives designed specifically for RAID applications. These are 7200 RPM, 8MB buffer drives with 1 MIllion MTBF lifespans. The WD Caviar RE drives carry a three-year warranty and are offered in capacities of 250, 160 and 120 GB.
