I have windows 98. I can only start the p.c. in safe mode, so it doesn't show up my E and F drives. I have a ghost backup on a c.d. but can't use it to reformat! Can anyone help, please?
I tried putting the backup from the disc onto a floppy, (using another p.c.) but there isn't enough space on the floppy.

if you have a floppy then make a boot disk. youll then be able to use the cd drive and from there you will be able to restore your drive with ghost.
