Hi to all! I have the Hercules ATI RADEON 9700 PRO and I am using ATI's CATALYST 3. 1 along with XP - DX9. When I try to run ATI's demos (8500,9000,9700), DX9 tests & 3DMark03, the system hangs and I need to restart or it returns to a corrupted desktop.

I recently installed windows 2000 on my new 40 Gig HDD. It's spec's are as follows Intel P3 450MHz 256 MB RAM compaq ps/2 mouse generic keyboard i440bx Intel Motherboard 40 Gig WD HDD 52x24x52 CD/RW 48x CD-ROM Anyway, everytime I restart my computer, both my mouse and keyboard do not work.

Anybody have any tips on getting Rogue Squadron to run under windows 2000 service pack 2? I can't seem to get it to run on my system. I'm using a geforce 4 Ti4600 video card and have tried various drivers.

Dial-up adapter doesn't start automatically using Opera

The anaglog dial-up won't start when I start Opera. It will connect if I manually start the connection and IE starts it ok (of course). I have the box connect when no network connection is present checked, but it still refuses to start.

REading the topic from me below, it is not exactly flickering. It is like geometric triangles and shards like glass appearing on and off. The car in the game looks like it has multiple angles on it. It is not smooth.

I just got an odd request, but yet I have to ask. . . . Is there anywhere that I can download a copy of say IE 5. 0 or 5. 5 as a standalone? What I mean is that is there anywhere I can download a copy of IE, burn it onto a CD, and install it on my laptop that doesn't have internet access? Thanks for any help.

im using an ms office keyboard with winxp anyways. . the problem is that when i press alt. . it opens up ms excel. . if i hold it down/press more than once it opens multiple copies. . if i press the paste key over on the side it opens ms outlook.

Hi, When i play counter strike under windows xp my system crash. The problem is only in opengl mode and windows xp. In direct 3d no problems, in windows 98 & me no problems. I test 2 acelerator graphic and the problem is the same.

In 2k i could share my folders on my little home network and set all the settings and who was allowed to access them etc ! however i don't seem to be able to do this in XP i either share them or i dont ! ( is there any way i can enable the feature of playing with all the settings? thanks :x
