Accessing machines that have not joined my domain...

All of the computers at my house are members of my domain, which is named LOTL. But when friends come by and I try to access some of there shares, the login box pops up, and in the login box I try guest on both user and pass and the login box immediately comes back with LOTL\guest prefilled into the username spot.

I need to export a report from Access2002 from a visual basic sub routine. I am using DoCmd. OutputTo acOutputReport, Table, acFormatXLS, File The problem is that it appears to save it in a pre Excel97 format.

I have just bought fallout 2 for my laptop which uses xp professional, the problem being that when i click the exe file to load the game it tells me that only administrators have the privilege to run this program which is stupid as am the only one on this computer and i am admin.

My bro just recently bought the C-350Zoom Olympus digital camera. This connects to the computer through USB. And once connected Win XP identifies the camera as an USB DISK. This is a feature design so that you wont need any drivers for the camera just plug and open explorer and copy your images right of the memory ...

i have an older MS force feedback pro joystick,gameport version. . . i know a lot of people seem to have trouble getting this stick to work in win2k/xp. . . i don't have that problem. . . it works just fine.

Good morning all. I'm having issues adding users from my excel spreadsheet to my AD Users and Computers. I know the tool in the past used to be addusers. exe or addusers. vbs which was on the Resource Kit for both NT4 and 2K but that no longer exists in Win2K3.

HDD's starting then stoping coming out of sleep running APM

Running 2k w/ APM support (no ACPI because of chipset issues) after the HDD's power down (after 10 min as I have set it) when they are started, they go into a 'loop' pattern of trying to start, then stop over and over.

ok, im running w2k with sp3 installed. i searched for this game, its there. suggest i install windows app compatibility toolkit. i did just that , the latest one from microsoft's site. then told me to run the qfixapp under programs>app compatibility toolkit, but it is not there.

Any good rally games for PC?

Any recommendations for a good PC Rally game? I would like to at least have: Mitsubishi Evolution (probably a VII) Subaru WRX Ford Focus and if possible, a Peugeot 206 AWD would be nice. I haven't been into driving games in a *really* long time, and would like to try a new one.
