Explorer Crashes every time i use the Runas command

Everytime i use the runas command explorer crashes. I assume its from a hotfix conflict or something. . . im not sure it has happened every time i run something as administrator from my account though.

What is efes.exe

A few days ago a file named efes. exe showed up on my comp, in the All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder under Documents & Settings, which I have no idea of its purpose or danger. It also seemed to show up on my bro's comp the same day.

Can someone explain the boot. ini file to me? I am trying to dual boot XP Pro and Mandrake 9. 0 using the XP boot manager. I have a bootable floppy to get into Mandrake and copied those files to the c:\.

I have been using Briefcase for a while now, and synchronize between my desktop and server. When I decided to encrypt files that I use in the Briefcase, I got to update all and it lists some of them as being deleted.

Hello all, I am at a loss finding the setting that will force my WinXP Pro machine to automatically log onto my account at Boot up. I am the only account on the machine, and every time I restart, Windows stops at the logon screen asking for my user name and password (this account has no password).

Ok, well I am biting the bullet and building a new PC. . . . I blame APK for posting that DOOM3 movie clip and being the final straw in my decision JK I used to be up on the pc hardware, but as of recently, I have lost touch with that aspect of the business.

I want to take my wireless connection that is hooked up to a wireless router with cable internet and share it so it goes though a ethernet port on my computer to my workstation for repairin pc's. But i dont have the the check box in my wireless card network properties for ICS.

Hi, On one of my 2003 servers I use tightVNC to remotely log in. However the server locks itself after being idle for a little while. I can't unlock through VNC , I have to physically log on to the server and unlock it before I am able to use VNC with it If anyone could tell me how to disable the automatic locking ...
