What are some of your feelings on AMD's new 64Bit Line up, and their soon to be release 64bit Desktop lineup. My Op. is the AMD has made a nice price margin for 64bit solutions and they also offer backward 32bit compatibility.

DVI or VGA?

Hey everybody, just had a quick question. I am going to be running Windows XP sp1 as soon as I format my pc. I've got a GeForce 4 Ti 4200 and it has DVI and VGA outputs. My monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 955DF.

I've got a RIVA TNT2 (PCI) Card installed on my System. But WinXP uses the SaveVGA driver instead of the (correct installed) TNT2 driver. Hi Guys, I have installed IIS and there seems to be the following stupid problem. Suppose I have some files in C:\inetpub\wwwroot folder that i want to access using IP like Now each time I do this it ask me for my password and only when I enter my admin/password it lets me access the file.

Changing font size when changing resolution

I have increased my resolution from 1024x768 to 1280x1024 and have gone through the list under display properties/appearence to increase the sizes to 12 pt, but there are still dialog boxes, namely the save as that are small and hard to read.

Pc Hangs On Boot and random Hanging??????????

I'm Hoping someone will have an idea? ;( ;( ;( ;( My pc keeps on crashing/hanging, its doing this quite alot, The Os is Winxp Pro sp1 with Dx9 and seeing that I think its a hardware problem I thought it would be better to post in here.

Only have 16 colors as a choice?

I changed monitors. Went to display settings and saw I only had 16 colors as my only choice. Went back to my original monitor, same thing. Upgraded service pack, downloaded new video drivers and still can not get more colrs.

This is really going to sound like a BIG DUH, but I have a question. My nephew, who is very computer savy, says I don't have to shut my computer off at night, that it's probably harder on it to power it up every morning than to leave it on.
