I get that message pointing to 'ndis. sys' when I try to send a e-mail with SMTP authority using Opera V6. 05 w/ SMTP Auth V0. 9 This also happens with just Pegasus Mail running! I thought it was a problem with SMTP Authority, but the same thing happens with Pegasus Mail! Here is the KB article from M$ on the error ...

Safemode on Windows NT.

On one of the computers here at work I changed the resolution to one that the monitor couldnt display. Well it never went back so now every time I start up the comptuer and get into windows the screen goes blank and displays one of those 'out of scan range' errors.

Wing Commander kilrathi Saga error

I recently installed Wing Commander: The Kilrathi Saga on my computer. I am running windows 2k and had many problems getting any of the three games to run. Using act 2. 6 I was able to get wc1 and wc2 to work with the win95 layer.

XP Home and control over internet connection...

I have XP Home edition and multiple local accounts (don't log into a domain). I am the only admin level user. I would like to control the internet connection for the other user level users. Things like limit the time it can be used and who can use it.

I'm thinking about getting a network laser printer, just a reasonably priced Mono laser with 10/100 Ethernet built in. Am I right in thinking I don't need to connect this type of printer to a computer, I can just plug it into a hub/router, and then the other computers on the network will be able to print to it? Hi, I just got a new pc and want to create a home network. I would like to do wired networking, but there isn't enough room to pass the wires throgh. I'm thinking of creating a wireless network, but can't find anything that's that good (I've been looking mainly at linksys).

Hey peeps, I am running a client machine which is working on a domain. I want to change it so that it is running on a workgroup of ssc. I tried to change it but every time it will go back to the domain and not connect to the workgroup ssc.

NT4.0 to Windows 2000 communication

We have a network of NT4. 0 workstations with a Windows NT server. I added a new workstation running Windows 2000. From the Windows 2000 workstation I can access all of my NT4. 0 workstations from Network neighborhood except with the exception of one.
