New to Win 2k server...need help with micorsoft update

I want to push out updates from windows updates from the server instead of go to each desktop, loging in as admin and going to the windows update website. Is there a way I can push the updates from the server when a work station logs on? Any help would be appreciated.

hey, i have win 2k on a laptop and it has a password for the administrator. But it just logs on each time i turn the laptop on so i don't have to enter a password! but it has come up with your password will expire in.

This is my problem: there are 2 printservers, both running NT 4. 0 server, on wich I installed about 140 printers each, wich is about a days work for each server. Now it seems 1 of the servers wasn't configured correctly so it needs to be installed again, and also the printers.

Removing Defunct Security settings from a drive

Here is the deal I have 2 harddrives, and I formatted my main partition on my main drive a while back. Now on one of the secondary partitions on my other drive I have ghosted security settings for some of the folders.

"Safely Remove Hardware" Icon Sometimes Disappears

I have a couple of pieces of hardware that activate this icon. The removable media drive in my Epson Photo 925 printer, and my Apple (Win) iPod (when plugged in). However, occasionally, this icon disappears and even by plugging in the iPod won't bring it back.

I'm wondering if there's any way to get Who Want's to Be a Millionaire 2nd Edition running under NT 4, SP6A. I have the un-official DirectX 5 patch, DirectMedia 6, & DirectPlay 6. 1a, but the game says it needs DirectX 7.

Admin Share Weirdness

Sometimes I've encountered this weirdness when trying to connect to an admin share. When it prompts for the User name and password, the username field is ghosted out and thus stuck as guest. Does anyone know why this happens and/or how to fix it?.

ok, my next problem on the laptop is that it has office 200 professional on it! but it is from the guy i got the laptop from. I want to uninstall the pro version and put on my 2000 premium version. however when i go to unistall 2000 professional it says it needs the disk! which is a prob! is there a way round this ...

Need help with Rio 500 MP3 player

Ok I have the firware upgraded to 2. 16 latest. Got the latest Rioport software and its running and detecting fine. I transferred like 11 songs to he player and when I check the payer it shows all songs are there but when I go to play them sometimes it will skip 1 song or 3 songs in a row and then play the next one.
