Looking for some opinions on Video Cards

I have a Geforce 3 TI200 and I am thinking of upgrading I am working with about a $200 budget. Any Idea's on what I should get I have been looking at some of hte Geforce FX 5600 cards. Should I get one or wait and just save that money.

I got a PC-100 motherboard and I want to buy more RAM for it. Now I went to London Drugs and they said that PC-133 RAM will work on my motherboard because somehow the RAM will lower its speed to 100Mhz instead of 133Mhz.

Firewall causing 404's on 70% of my favorites

Firstly, I apologize if this is in the wrong forum; I have been using the same firewall for a very long time without issue. It's an old Dell box running IPCOP (a Smoothwall clone, I guess). For those familiar, it's a RED/GREEN setup, where RED = WAN card & GREEN = LAN card.

Hi, I have a problem with my webcam. I have XP home edition. I'm running VP-EYE which works fine, but when I plug my cam in, the system shuts down, everytime. The cam it's self is a CMOS 100K-R Rev. 1.

I am setting up a Windows 2000 Server on a mixed network. OSes include Windows 98, SE, ME and Windows XP Pro. The server has a Public Static IP and the rest of the machines get private (192. 168. 0. x series) DHCP from a DSL router.

I'm trying to install win2000 on a MSI-6163 mobo, but during setup process w2k hangs. I think it's a bios problem, but MSI web-site doesn't help me! I read on this forum there's a compatible bios to let win2000 boot.

My friend who has a photo studio got a new machine for developing films. The machine is from fuji with W2000 no problems here. With the machine he bought an IBM dual P!!! 256Ram SCSI HDD, SCSI CDrom, SCSI CDRW, SCSI smatr compact flash.

Stop error with PCI nVidia card!

I built a computer recently and had to make do with a TNT2 32MB PCI video card instead of AGP. Drivers Det. 44. 03 My problem is when I try to shut the computer down I get a stop error saying that the problem file is nv_agp.

I got 2 machines running windows xp (1 desktop using a 3com905c nic, and an aopen laptop with integrated nic) the thing is that randomly both machines disable their nic, go into device manager, hit enable, and it works for a while till it disables itself again.

DOS screen size while booting

I run XP professional. I use an NEC MultiSync LCD1700m+ monitor. The native resolution of the monitor is 1280X1024. I have my desktop set to that and there is no problem. But, When booting, everything on the screen looks like it's running about 640X480 and covers a tiny spot on the screen.

I was wondering if it is possible to make a local windows update server. the problem is that we do so many services and we need to be able to update windows o most of them. High speed internet hepls but when you have 5 systems downloading updates at a time it still takes a long time.
