Hey all did some searching but have not found anything very clear. i simply need to set up a guest account on a windows 2003 server box - this account i more or less only want to give full access to 3 or 4 programs , IE and Outlook that is it.

Problem installing/running Microsoft Project 95 on XP

Hi guys, I have been trying to get an old version of MS Project running on Windows XP Pro SP1. It is MS Project 95, I have the 3. 5 disk version. The floppy disks are just fine, since I can install it on my Win98 machine, but on my XP one it just says Error copying Winproj.

Hi guys My Athlon XP 1800+ has been working without a problem for 1 year. But the problems started 2 days ago. Every time i run IE, the hard disk starts to work without pause and the system runs at slow motion, but i have a swap file of 768 mb and there are more than 5 gbs of free space in my HD.

defragmentation error

when i try to defrag my d: it says 'Engine Connection lost' but i can defragment all my other partitions. hd1 : c:\ and d:\ hd2 : g:\ and f:\ all defragment fine except d:\ any ideas ?.

I have had this problem for some time now and wanted to shoot a question to some of the experts here on this fourm. Logging into my W2K domain takes several minutes. I have a login script but it only maps a couple of drives from the server.

Me and my brother recently put together a Pentium 166mmx together with so leftover hardrives and stuff. I would like to try out some old games that I zipped up a long time ago on that computer but these old games are on CDRWs and wont work in that drive.

Hi Gents, I'm running a service on a windows NT2000 system and the program launched as a service must interact with the desktop. The program uses mounted drives on another shared resources So the service must be launched with a specific domain account and not the LocalSystem account.

Hey all well reading up on the centrino cause i am likely going to buy a laptop soon. What is the major advantage of the centrino - to me it seems simply it does not use as much power on battery - but the speeds are much lower, like 1.

I have Succesfully made a WiXP Disk with Service Pack1 installed, using Barts Procedure. I would like to Ad Moore Program Updates to it, so as to simplify the Installation of XP. Things like, Windows Media Player9, DirectX9 and also I have about 35 windows updates that I have saved.
