Page File Problem

hey all. . . i recently added more ram and now i have 512MB of ram. i disabled the page file and everything was fine until one day i played a 3D game and there was a virtual memory problem. . i then turned the page file back on.

Hi can anyone out there help me? the text on most website's has gone incredibly small so i cant read them? this only started hasppening about 2 weeks ago and it is really annoying! i've tried updateing everything!!!!!!!

Is it possible to minimize ICQ from a. bat file ? Or are there any programs that can minimize ICQ from command line ? The reason for why I want to do this is because I activate myHTPC (a HTPC frontend) from my remote control, but ICQ always shows on top of it when not minimized.

Hi all, I manually set both computers on my Workgroup to a fixed page file size (384MB), but Windows XP SP1 insists on displaying the page file size as Currently allocated - 767 MB on both systems.

Windows XP Display Control Panel Messed Up

I can't click the Desktop tab, under the Display Control Panel item. It just crashes to the desktop, complaining that it can't run a DLL as an APP. So I have no clue as to fix this. The only thing I installed was Service Pack 1a.

windows xp and sound problems.......

games and mp3 playback work fine. The. wav sounds dont work. Not sure why but it just started and i havent installed or uninstalled anything. I did try to reinstall the audio drivers but that didnt help.

Im using win 98se and whenever I do a install that prompts you to restart your computer or even if I just try to restart it, It goes to the windows screen before the restart and just sits there. Any one have any ideas how to fix this? Would it be a hardware issue or a software issue? Thanks for any help you can give.

64Bit Computing, A bit too much?

Intel is downplaying the whole 64bit desktop buzz. I believe we will be kissing 32bits goodbye by the end of next year when it comes to gamers and us video editors. What is your take? Looks like AMD will reign king again, King64!.

Ever since I installed XP pro service pack 1, I have had some strange behaviour with my IIS 5. 1 setup. In short, it doesn't work any more! is producing http 500 error message (ie. Internal Server Error - the page cannot be displayed).

i have got a wired network at home and have just got a laptop, i have connected the laptop via a cable but i would like to get the kit to connect it wirelessly !! What do i need? When I install service pack 1 for windows XP Pro the Safely remove hardware Icon appears in the tray telling me I can safely remove my USB Packard Bell Diamond 2450 scanner. Its always there, as soon as I boot my computer, when I use the scanner and even when the scanners asleep.
