Moving an OS Intallation

Hola, hopeing someone can help me with this I wanted to test XP, so i created a partition, installed it etc. etc. - VERY happy with it, i have it set up nicely, runs smooth and fast, Cubase and other programs i use run beautifully.

Bypassing CRC when copying

I have several CD-Rs of backed up mp3s. I recently went to combine those cds to DVD-R. When I try to copy from my cd to my hard disk, I get a message saying that it failed the CRC. The problem files are read fine in winamp so wherever the error is, it must not be anything major.

We had a 36 gig HD that was divided into a 1G and a 35G. 1G is used for the current NT server applications. Attempted to install Quickbooks Basic 2003 on 35G. Program attempted install of IE 6. 0 on 1G but found insufficient space.

this has probably been asked a thousand times but im new to the site so i dont know, but im having poor graphics performance when im playing oni on windows xp it plays a frame per 6-7 seconds is there anything i can do? thanks for any help.

I've suddenly hit a problem of my Win2K machine refusing to boot up when powered on. I just get a l-o-n-g beep, and sometimes a short one at the end of that long one. For a properly-working machine, it should be just one short beep.

I have just got a new athlon xp2600 with a coolmaster fan suitable of more than XP3000 yet my cpu is overheating !! i have to run it at xp2000 just to boot. Can anyone recommend and have experience of a better cpu fan please? not too expensive!! Thanks RF.

symantec 8.1 corp problem

i had a good working setup with symantec 8. 1 on win2k3 rc2. Clients are various windows varieties with various versions of symantec corp either 8. 0 or 8. 1 this was working great i would download the update on the server and all clients would have it almost instantly.

floppy disk problem

recently i have problems with my floppy disc drive ,since it sems that the floppy disc drive reading something(the l. e. d indicator switched on and make a noisy sound of rotating device) eventhough i dont even ask them to read anything(no floppy disc in the drive).
