anyone know of a good password program that checks strength of passwords on a network? also, how about a good IDS program for a network. i'm on win2k server. with a mix of win98/win2k/winxp. mainly win2k tho.

Mirrored Volumes with multiple drives with Server 2003

Anyone know if there is a limit on how many times I can mirror the boot drive on Server 2003? What I am trying to do is have 3 hard drives with the later 2 being mirrors of the first. .

i have just built a new computer with a MSI KT4AV motherboard and when i turn it on it just beeps at me derrr derrr derrr derrr derrr etc! nothing powers up not even the psu ! hmmmmmmmm i know normally the beeps mean somthing but i thought that was when the puter started !! any ideas? thanks

hey i have an nVidia Geforce 4 MS 420 and i cant get my TV out to work. I no that there isnt any problems at either end because i ran a test from nVidia telling me to dis-connected my monitor and just plug in my S-Video cable to my TV.

After up ATI Radeon Drivers from Catalyst3. 8 to 3. 9, Wolf ET crashes and can't start (send err. report keeps coming on). (Look in the signature for sys. config) already have tried uninstalling the application and reinstalling it.

I broke out my diablo 2 and put it on my system running XP Pro. It will work for a few minutes and then freeze for 10-30 seconds. I have the latest D2 patch and fairly recent ATI drivers. Indexing service is disabled.

NFSIII error: openhandlea - OPEN FAILED ON ' nul'

Can anyone help me with this annoying problem? When I try and use the customise car menu in NFSIII, I get the following error: openhandlea - OPEN FAILED ON ' nul' I haven't a clue what's caused this since I have been playing it fine for months and then one day it just appeared.

Hi Gang, I did something stupid I was repairing somebody's computer and somehow the show desktop link was on their desktop and not in the quicklaunch tray. Well I deleted it off the desktop before I noticed that it wasn't in the QuickLaunch tray.

I have setup a network of five workstations and a server. The server was w2kpro and the workstations were wxppro. My domain allowed me to change the access levels of my shares. I have another small network setup without a server (peer-peer).

How does the following network behaves in different situations? machine 1 NIC binded to IPX/NETBIOS and Microsoft network client, no TCP/IP binding. A dialup adaptor binded to TCP/IP, but not to IPX/NETBIOS, and not to Mcrosoft network client.

I am using my remote desktop to connect to my Domain Controller running Windows Server 2003 When I connect as a Domain Admin, I cannot see all the services running, nor can I configure Norton Antivirus 7.
