Norton Help!!!

I have a problem with norton. I have this program called O&O defrag v6 pro 30 day trail. What is a better version of the windows defrag program. Since When I did the windows one it never got rid of the red(fragmented files) so my bro tryed this program and it got rid of his red.

Windows 2003 Logon woes....

Hey all, I got a Dual Boot setup with XP and 2003 on different partitions, but whenever i try to logon with 2003 it does the following: 1)I type the password in 2) Starts to logon 3)Loads background (default blue) 4) plays widnows sound thats all it does.

I guess the first thing I need to know is where do I find a free compiler that has good features? And second, where do I go to get started learning? There are lots of sites, but what do you all use. I want a site that gets updated frequesntly, maybe one that has a good Delphi forum etc.

Win2K and large HDD

Hi, I'm trying to fit a 160Gb IDE HDD but BIOS sees it as 136Gb and Windows 2000 sees it as 128Gb. My motherboard is getting on a bit, a VIA chipset with PIII 600MHz CPU. I have the latest BIOS which is Advance 5-133E V1.

Help with windows 2000 adv server for home networking

Can anybody help me with regards on how to setup windows 2000 adv server (active directory, user’s acct, etc)? Or maybe direct me to any website that provide tutorial? In our house we have 5 computers, 2 for the kids, 2 for my wife and me and 1 in the basement acting as a fileserver.

Need help choosing a good video capture card.

ok I have a Sony Handycam CCD-TRV57 video camera with a lot of video of my two daughters growing up. I want to start backing them up to VCD or dvd-r. I have the burning hardware and software but not the capture hardware.

USB Compatibility Problem

I recently purchased an external CDRW (with built-in USB controller). I am unable to get this writer operable under NT (service pack 6). After a few hours with tech support and installing other USB drivers from the web, the device in just not recognized by NT.

Quick tips for Sysprep.

I'm just finishing up a new iteration of our XP pro OEM corporate image, and wanted to check a couple things. what switches should I use to get rid of the OEM key entry, and have the machine basically just boot to windows, skipping the minisetup and just resetting the SID's.

changing boot.ini to boot into Linux

I have a stupid problem. I'm trying to dual-boot my system (Windows XP on Raid0, and Mandrake Linux on IDE secondary master HDD). the problem is Linux does not see my raid controller, and since i'm a newbe to linux (my second time installing) i don't know how to make it see the raid thingee anyways.
