2003 Server 1030 and 1058 Errors

I have tried countless fixes to correct this issue. I have disabled items in group policies, edited the host file, made sure of DFS being enabled, checked on WMI services. . . the list goes on. Every 5 minutes exactly I get this these errors on my Server after I upgraded today from Windows 2000 to 2003.

Windows 2000 laptop can't join NT domain

I have one Win 2000 laptop that won't join the domain ('test'). When I do the network identification wizard, it says domain name 'test' is either invalid or does not exist. Why? All other PCs/laptops join this domain with no problem.

Windows 2003 AD does not recognize my domain controller?

Morning all. I finished setting up my Windows 2003 Ent. Svr with AD. Everything went well with DNS setup prior to DCPROMO along with DCPROMO itself having no conflicts with DNS. I also did the AD intergration with my primary DNS zone which went well without a hitch.

A very nice article. 1 thing I'd like to know is what are those cable types like RG-59 or. 500 and what does 22AWG mean(I know that computer psu cables are 18AWG). RG-59 coax have an 22AWG core, but how thick is that.

i am getitng this EXACT error with my new rig. Abit NF7 with nforce 2 chipset. Once any ati driver is loaded (8500LE radeon) I logon and the logon box goes away and comes back again and again, eventually i get in but no exe's will run whatsoever.

Looks like some good improvements to me. They made the firewall much like zonealarm's where you can specify access for specific programs. They also took away the full priviledges that the RPC had which allowed for all the worms several months ago.

Inaccessible boot device on Win NT 4 Server install

I have to install Win NT 4 server on a Compaq Deskpro. We've put in a RAID 1 array with 2 SCSI hard drives, 73 GB each. When I run the NT 4 installation, it gets through the first install disk and crashes on the 2nd disk, with the error inaccessible boot device.

Gimp for windows basic config question

I am trying to combine several very large (4+ MB) files using the gimp. Decompressed, these files are pushing 100 MB. I have 300+ MB of free memory but the gimp won't even use half of it. It insists on using it's swap space instead.

I try to configure an infrared port serial on a motherboard asus p4p800 deluxe but after i have installed the drivers correctly,when i choose the com1 where the device is connected the pc reboot automatically and in the menu of hardware device the infrared is not correctly installed.

If you have a dual-monitor setup & would like to have this prog running on your secondary monitor then you're out of luck, it has no multi-monitor support. I think I'll stick with Y'z until someone comes up with a dock program that's not just multi-monitor capable, but also has some kind of support for system tray ...
