Explorer crashes when I view my one hardrive.

When ever I view my one storage drive, explorer will display the pointer with the hour glass, pause, crash, and reload the desktop and icons, closing out any explorer windows open. Why? I can see the drive and navigate through out it fine in dos.

Nt4, Exch 5.5, which upgrade path?

Currently running nt4 with echange 5. 5. Going to upgrade to server 2000 or 2003, with newest exchange. Should i upgrade the echange server, or the OS first? (I will image the machine before i touch it, so no need to worry about reloads from scratch, if all hell breaks loose that's what i will do).

2k server, static IP, grabbing 10 Ip addresses ?!?!?! ¿¿

My 2k DC forest root, 2 nics set with static IP's. My 2k member server is the dhcp box for the ntwork. I check it's dhcp config and I see the primary DC (with pdc emultaion) has 10 IP address leases.

2000 domain arrangement question

I have one win2k forest root DC, 1 NT 4 bdc, and one 2000 member server. I wish to make the 2000 member server a dmoain controller (no problem i know) But how can I make it the new forst root? The old forest root is due to be retired pretty quick.

Hello, this started with adobe photoshop 8 which was released recently, that it cannot open banknotes images. but anybody tried Jasc's PSP 8. x? well, i tried, and it has the same thing, it refuses to open the $20 new bill photo.

When I use Adobe Acrobat Reader, it ALWAYS creates a folder named My eBooks within the MY DOCUMENTS! I have checked through the Acrobat Reader in order to find and change this but NOTHING x Any suggestions?

I am trying to get hold of a BIOS update for my laptop pc (running XP pro SP1). My current version is Insyde MobilePro BIOS version 3. 00. 03 but I can't find an update anywhere! I've looked on the Insyde website, but there is no facility for downloading updates.

ICS cannot be enabled make sure lan adapter is installed

here is the deal. I have one lan adapter in my pc. It is 192. 168. 0. 1. My internet nic is instaled, i try to enable ICS and i keep getting error 783 : The adapter specified is not present or non funtioning blah blah ICS cannot be enabled.
